About Me

For 8 years I’ve worked with a school district under their communications department. In that time I’ve learned Adobe Premiere, After Effects and how to operate a Tricaster and Slingstudio. I was the only individual in this large district who video edits so everything I’ve learned I’ve taught myself. We focused on telling stories about our district and educators so I often set up and interview staff/students/community members as well as captured appropriate broll and then edit the project. I am a start to finish project manager of my own work. Recently I’ve worked with students teaching them to film and livestream events. While working there I also obtained my UAS remote pilot license and can fly a drone commercially.


Previously, I interned with the Cleveland Browns in their scoreboard department video editing on Avid. There I created content for both game-day and for special events. I enjoy learning new skills and growing in my abilities to edit and film great interviews

But What's aWAKE?

Growing up, my family lived our days on Lake Erie – we fished, tubed, floated and waked boarded. I remember as a little girl being woken up before the sun to get on the boat when the water was calm and driving miles out into the open calm water watching the sun rise on the water. As you jet out to your spot, the wake follows behind you showing where you’ve been and where you’re going. The wake is essential for summertime fun – even tubing and wakeboard depends on the wake.  Being AWAKE on the water – whether a sunrise fishing excursion or a sunset drive back towards the lighthouse – has been and will always be – my favorite summertime, Lake Erie living, experiences. 

I’ve also worked with Broadcast writers on what we called “Video Updates” for our organization, a collection of events or relative information packaged up for quick views
